Organising a funeral can be a daunting experience, for all sorts of reasons. Family and friends often choose not to discuss their final wishes for fear of upsetting us and not every bereavement is straightforward, so you may have a bewildering set of choices to make (and all sorts of unexpected emotions to handle).
By choosing an independent celebrant you will have more options as to the content of the service, and a listening ear who will be available to address any concerns in the lead up to the day itself.
I am able to conduct any type of funeral service; religious or non-religious, or something in between. You can participate in the service as much, or as little, as you like.
It is important that you have all the options available explained to you, so that you can choose the right type of service.
Every service is a new opportunity to create something unique.
I have undertaken training with the renowned celebrant Terri Shanks, and I am a member of The Fellowship of Professional Celebrants which is, in turn, affiliated to the National Association of Funeral Directors. I have extensive materials from which you can choose so that the resulting service is exactly right.
