Confidentiality notice
It is an honour to assist you and, as such, I take the confidentiality of the information that you share with me very seriously.
The information that you provide during our communications, by email, by telephone and in person, will be treated confidentially by me, and only shared with third parties with your permission. These third parties will be limited to the funeral director that you have chosen and through whom you are making arrangements, and the Crematorium staff where necessary, and will only include that which is needed for the smooth running of the service on the day.
Any emails sent by me are done so from a password protected and virus protected computer and are not accessible by any other parties, however at present the integrity of E mail sent via the internet cannot be guaranteed, and messages sent via this medium are potentially at risk, therefore I cannot accept liability for any issues arising as a result of this means of communication.
Any information that is shared with me by the funeral director regarding the service (i.e. your address and telephone number) are kept only for the purpose of services that I conduct on your behalf. They will be stored in a locked facility to which I am the only person with a key. I will not contact you for any other reason than having been instructed to act on your behalf for the purpose of a funeral service, and I will not share your information with any other unrelated parties for any reason.
I will treat all personal information with care and confidentiality in line with General Data Protection Regulations, and will destroy any irrelevant information in a secure way following the service.
